LATTERIA LIVIGNO

latteria fresco
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Cheese with an unmistakable flavour obtained by processing raw semi-skimmed milk from farms in the valley of Livigno, located more than 1,800 metres above sea level. This cheese is particularly pleasing to the palate thanks to its unmistakable aromatic notes: a soft and elastic dough, slightly buttery taste, and colour ranging from white to pale yellow depending on the production season. Excellent for cooking, to enhance the most typical traditional Alpine dishes with its hints of mountain. Pleasant and enjoyably tasty at the end of a meal.

Depending on how long it is left to age, it can be found Fresco (from 2 to 8 months), Stagionato (from 8 to 12 months) or Stravecchio (over 1 year). Cheese left to rest in special ageing cells.
