taglio
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This cheese has an unmistakable flavour, is produced and aged in Livigno, and is obtained by processing raw milk. It is particularly pleasing and full-bodied on the palate, thanks to its unique and exclusive aromatic ageing in a "natural" cave. The soft and elastic dough, slightly buttery taste, and colour ranging from white to pale yellow depending on the milk production season make it a unique and privileged product, a food excellence with a guaranteed origin.

This cheese was awarded 2nd prize in the world "Cheese of the Year 2012" competition in the "Semi-hard Cheeses" category.

It is a cheese that can be enhanced by other typical local products such as Sforzato, "king" of our red wines, and rye bread, which enhance the scent of high mountains, brightening any moment dedicated to delight of the palate and friendly company.
